This one-owner vessel was ordered new from the factory by her knowledgeable owner with several significant and not inexpensive upgrades. These include an insulated hull, fiberglass fuel and water tanks, a solid lead (not steel) ballast, an upgraded engine (more horsepower and balanced crankshaft for smooth operation), heavy duty Hurth transmission and a saltwater sea chest (safety feature - eliminates multiple through-hull fittings). She also features maintenance-free fiberglass decks, a watermaker, SSB radio, electric windlass with excellent ground tackle, generator, AC & heat, liferaft and wind generator. This vessel has been well maintained, is in very good condition and ready for extensive offshore cruising.

Accommodations
This special vessel is a legitimate, offshore, two station, pilothouse sailboat - not a motor-sailer. The pilothouse offers significant safety and comfort in heavy weather. The flush deck design offers easy access to the uncluttered foredeck and increased living space below. The boat's cutaway underbody, known as the "Brewer Bite" reduces wetted surface with its cutout forefoot. Additional underbody features are the skeg-protected rudder and the keel-protected propeller in an aperture. The cockpit offers good visibility from the helm and incredible comfort and visibility from the pilothouse station.
Vessel walk-through: Upon entering the pilothouse from the cockpit, the inside helm is to port. Just outboard and aft is a forward-facing nav station with chart table. Opposite to starboard is a setee which doubles as a comfortable berth for two. The pilothouse has a wet locker and a dry locker. Excellent engine access is provided by two large floor hatches in the pilothouse. Continuing forward and two steps down, the U-shaped galley is to port. It features two stainless steel sinks, a gimballed 3 burner propane stove with oven, top loading deep storage compartment for pots & pans, shelves, spice rack, storage lockers, an overhead galley cabinet with pass-through opening to the salon and a wine glass rack beneath. The large, top loading refrigerated ice box and freezer compartments have a cutting-board top. Opposite the galley to starboard is the guest cabin offering a 2 person berth and built-in clothing drawers. Just forward is the head, with 2 access doors, a wash basin with countertop, storage cabinets and a manual flush head. The salon features a comfortable U-shaped setee to port and two floor-mounted captain's chairs to starboard. A centerline, floor-mounted double drop leaf table is provided for dining. Forward to port is the main head. It features a showering area, marble countertop with wash basin, storage cabinets and shelves, plus a manual flush head. Opposite the head to starboard is a spacious hanging locker. The forward cabin features a new, 8" thick Tempur-Pedic mattress (a dream to sleep on) plus drawers and lockers plus anchor locker access.

Additional
Unique characteristics of this vessel:
The layout between port and starboard is well-balanced with heads and berths on each side of the vessel - ideal for comfort on either tack or in a seaway.
Seasoned cruisers know the value of this vessel's huge fuel and water tankage, which is unmatched when compared to other modern heavy displacement boats.
The canoe stern not only provides safety in a following sea but also prevents "hull slap" at the stern when at anchor or the dock. The slap of water beneath an overhanging stern is an irritating noise, particularly while one is trying to sleep.
This boat was ordered with optional hull insulation from the waterline to the deck. The insulation is composed of 1" foam, covered with two layers of fiberglass. This makes for an incredibly quiet boat underway and also keeps the interior warmer in cold climates and quite cool in hot climates.
